Delta Flow installation overview
Short and practical steps to get started inside your LAN.
What gets installed
- Server - local service hosting database and web dashboard
- Agent - lightweight Windows service on each PC
Where it runs
- Inside your local network (LAN)
- No external servers or cloud dependencies
Requirements
- Agent: Windows PCs
- Server: dedicated PC or mini‑server
- Stable local network
Network
- Protocol: HTTP (LAN‑only)
- Default port: 8080 (UI + API)
- Access: local network only
- Firewall: allow inbound TCP 8080 on the server
- Port is configurable on request
Install server
- Run server installer on the chosen machine
- Open the local web dashboard
- Create an admin account
Install agent
- Install agent on each Windows PC
- Enter the local server address
- Confirm the agent appears in the dashboard
First run checklist
- Server sees all agents
- Devices mapped to employees
- Reports generate without errors
Troubleshooting
- Ensure server and agents are in the same network
- Verify system time synchronization
- Check local firewall settings
Update & Uninstall
- Updates and uninstall are performed locally
- Full technical reference is provided on request
